After a very cagey, scoreless 1st<\/sup> quarter, Ireland took a 2nd<\/sup> quarter lead from Shane O\u2019Donoghue<\/strong>\u2019s 23rd<\/sup>minute strike. Lee Cole<\/strong> doubled the lead in the 30th<\/sup> minute to give Ireland a 2-0 halftime lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ireland took control in the 2nd<\/sup> half O\u2019Donoghue\u2019s 34th<\/sup> minute goal made it 3-0, before Cole\u2019s penalty stroke on 44 minutes gave Ireland a 4-0 3rd<\/sup> quarter lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cole\u2019s 56th<\/sup> minute penalty stroke put Ireland 5-0 up, before Conor Empey<\/strong> converted a penalty corner after 58 minutes. Benjamin Walker<\/strong>\u2019s 59th<\/sup> minute strike, from open play, completed the scoring on a very emphatic 7-0 victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
