I got to Deramore Park, as the whistle sounded for the start of the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0half. Belfast Harlequins led 27-7 at the break. Andrew Shaw<\/strong> contributed a try for Bangor, converted by Gareth Millar<\/strong>. Unfortunately, we don\u2019t have the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0half scorers for Quins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quins increased their 1st<\/sup> half lead, when Cole Blyde<\/strong> scored under the posts for Charlie Beattie<\/strong> to convert to put Quins up 32-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charlie Beattie’s try and conversion put Quins 39-7 up<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A solo try by Beattie, which he converted, took Quins out to 39-7 after 45 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having secured their bonus point Quins seemed to relax and Bangor, with nothing to lose, slung the ball about, almost in \u20187s\u2019 style, finding gaps in the Quins defence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danny young scored Bangor’s 2nd try<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Danny Young<\/strong> got over on the left, after 55 minutes to reduce the deficit to 12-32. On 64 minutes Matt Bougoure<\/strong> try and conversion by Millar pulled Bangor back to 19-39.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quins were content to see the game out for a bonus point win in Ulster Premiership Division 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
