Osborne Park was the venue for the U16 Cup fixture between Royal Belfast Academical Institution and Sullivan Upper School, on Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conor Davis opened the scoring for Inst<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Inst took the lead in the 2nd<\/sup> minute, when Conor Davis<\/strong> got over, beside the posts. Dylan Morrow<\/strong>\u2019s conversion gave Inst a 7-0 lead. On 7 minutes Matthew Elliott<\/strong>\u2019s try and Morrow\u2019s conversion moved Inst out to 14-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jacob McFerran<\/strong>\u2019s intercepted on his own 22 and outpaced the Inst defence to open the scoring for Sullivan. Isaac Wray<\/strong>\u2019s conversion brought the score back to 7-14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost immediately Tom Alderdice<\/strong> sniped over, beside a ruck for Inst to lead 19-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew Elliott claimed two of Inst’s tries<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A powerful midfield break by Elliott, saw him dive under the posts on 28 minutes. Morrow\u2019s conversion put Inst 26-7 up. However, Inst relaxed and allowed Jacob McKeown<\/strong> to score just before halftime. Wray\u2019s conversion saw Sullivan down 14-26 at the break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After halftime Inst piled on the pressure dominating in all aspects of play. Sullivan had to live off scraps, with occasional forays into the Inst half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tries by Louis Campbell<\/strong>, 36 minutes, Jamie McAllister<\/strong>, 41 minutes, Adam Middleby<\/strong>, 46 minutes and Adam Currie<\/strong>, 58 minutes, together with 3 Morrow conversions, eased Inst to a very comfortable 52-14 victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
