Late Saturday Afternoon, under lights Pegasus and Ulster Elks met in an All Ireland Women\u2019s 1st<\/sup> Division game at The Dub, Queens. As befits a local derby encounter, there was an edge to the game as Pegasus sought to gain their first points of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zara Malseed opened the scoring for Pegasus<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The 2nd<\/sup> quarter was much of the same fare. Zara Malseed opened the scoring for Pegasus, the 24th<\/sup> minute, following a penalty corner move. Despite chances at both ends they took the 1-0 lead into halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was end to end in the 3rd<\/sup> quarter, with both defences scrambling at times to preserve their goals. A goalless 3rd<\/sup> quarter set up a tense final quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Serena Campuzano slots a penalty stroke home to tie the scores<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

With the clock running down Elks won a penalty stroke in the 58th<\/sup> minute. Serena Campuzano converted to tie the scores 1-1. There was time for chances at both ends before the final whistle sounded on a honours even 1-1 draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
