On Thursday evening The British Milers Club held its first meeting at the Mary Peters Track in 10 years. On a mild, warm evening for athletics a series of personal best were set by local and visiting athletes.

In the Women’s 800m US athlete, Michaela Meyer, won in 1.58.55 from Irish International Jenna Bromwell. Australian Will Lewis dominated the 1500m A race in 3.42.67.

Local athletes, City of Lisburn’s Lauren Roy won the women’s 100m in 11.68 and Oliver Swinney, Speed Development, took the Men’s 100m in 10.68.

Jodie McCann, Dublin City, won the Women’s 3000m in 9.29.93
