Dromore High welcomed Carrick grammar to Ferris Park early on Saturday morning for a Ulster Hockey 1st XI Superleague match.

Dromore started the game full of intent and two goals in the first quarter set them well on their way.

Kate McCambley opened the scoring for the home team after 7 minutes with Danielle Crookshank adding the second just before the end of the quarter.

Carrick looked to battle back in the second quarter but it ended scoreless leaving the visitors chasing a two goal deficit as the teams changed ends.

Carrick had their chances in the second half but they were unable to convert and Dromore wrapped up their win with a third quarter goal from Cliona Cockran and a fourth quarter score from Charlotte Bradfield to give Dromore a 4 – 0 win.
