U14 Superleague: Royal School Armagh 4 Grosvenor Grammar 0 (Half Time)

The Royal School Armagh entertained Grosvenor Grammar at College Hill in the U14 Superleague on Saturday morning.

Unfortunately the game was late with the pass back so I was only able to cover the first half.

The Royal School applied pressure from the start but thanks to some energetic saves from the Grosvenor keeper it took them a while to find the net.

Grosvenor’s keeper had a fine game.

Unfortunately for Grosvenor, Armagh found their range towards the end of the first quarter with Kate Livingston converting two penalty corners to give Armagh a 2 – 0 lead.

Armagh’s Kate Livingston picked up a first half hat trick for the Royal School.

Livingston competed her hat-trick mid way through the second quarter with a fine strike in open play and two minutes later the hard working Cadence Gillespie added a fourth to set the home team well on their way to victory at half time.

Cadence Gillespie sends in Armagh’s fourth goal.

Grosvenor contributed plenty to an entertaining half with their keeper in particular making several good interceptions. However, they were unable to contain the in form Livingston.
